2010年國際殘疾人日的主題是“讓千年發展目標具有包容性：增強世界各地殘疾人及其社區的力量”。
2011年國際殘疾人日的主題是“人人共享美好世界，推動殘疾人融合發展”。
2012年國際殘疾人日的主題是：“共建更美好世界，造福全民，造福參與發展的殘疾人”。
